How it all started

I am thrilled that you have landed on this page! Like you, my health had had its ups and downs — being a mom, wife, and Sagittarius, can make for a super busy life. All the micromanaging and multitasking took its toll on the health of my adrenals and my microbiota (my gut).

 
 

I was so tired of being tired and I wanted to feel happy, healthy and not bloated.

So I decided to be my own health detective! I set out on a serious mission to create a movement around the importance of making and eating fermented foods. I introduced fermented foods into my diet and experienced the benefits first hand; brighter skin, flatter tummy, and a stronger immune system. I also noticed I was happier and I was finally sleeping better.

I wanted to share my new health experiences with more and more women

I was enlightened and feeling good! This is where I began my journey of becoming The Gut Girl (sexy, right?)! I became certified through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and credited through the purchase college SUNY (State University of New York), where I studied and learned over 100 different dietary theories. During my studies I was introduced to fermentation and the incredible benefits of the good bacteria found in these foods. Who knew I would become so fascinated with these tiny beings called bacteria! 

 
 

I want to find more ease in a world that seems to keep getting louder and busier

I am just like you. I want to be a healthy role model for my children, and keep them safe from the toxic world we live in. I want to have the energy to do the things I love with family and friends. You deserve to feel all this too! Now, let's get fermenting!
